First day...contd.

First day of school over. Two classes. One was 2 hours, the other was 3 hours. Tiring?Very. Sleepy? Not quite. Boring? Not so. I don't know how I managed to stay wide awake for 3 hours during the American Literature class. But I did. And we came to the decision of having classes only 4 days a week, Fridays out. Good. Very Good.

Well. I need to get over what got into me today in order to be happy for the next 8 weeks so that I can be happier when I go back. I'll try, but there's no guarantee. I'm just not happy here as of now. God knows why.

:)

First day

Yup, finally it's the first day of school! At least there's something to do now rather than just staying in the room and watch movies or go online everyday, although I know that I will still be watching movies and going online everyday but at least I won't be stuck in my room the whole day. Hehe. First class - Research Writing. So far so good. A lot of reading and researching to be done in the next 8 weeks. But today, the mood's just not up for some reasons. I'm just sick and tired of something. Something that always put my mood down. I don't know. Whatever it is, I hate it when it happens. And it happens a lot of times. I have to put up with it. I shall ask my two fav cousins again for advice. Whoever that I meet online first. Hehe. I know. I know. Childish, you may say. But if it happens to you, you really feel it. If it never happens to you, you may never know how it feels. It hurts and my only hope now is to go back to Sabah (in 8 weeks time) and be with the people I've grown up with. Comfortable and no worries. Aaarrggh! I just hate it! I shall keep myself busy with my own thoughts, and of course the assignments given, just so that I won't be thinking a lot about this. Because I know, it will continue and thinking about it will only torture me. Peace be upon me. Hehe.

another fave couz:)

Image hosted by Photobucket.com

Chatted with her last nite till 2 in the morning, the longest chat i ever had with her so far. Hehe. It's always fun to chat with those who are close with you. She and her sister (another fave couz of mine, teeheehee:))are the two people in my life that I can consider my older sisters, since I don't have any sisters in my family. Almost everytime I have problems here in college, I always go to her older sis to spill it all out and to ask for advice, but now that I can chat with her online, that means I have two peeps to spill my problems out to. Haha. They've been through my age, and probably they have experienced what I have gone through and what I will go through in the coming years, so I go to them. Besides them, the only people I go to is of course my parents.

Kakak Bibi, if you're reading this, I want you to know that you and Kakak Tuti will always be my favourite cousins! No matter what.:)Hope to be able to visit you sometime in the future, balik-balik oredi I say this, hajat belum tercapai....I shall be patient..Hehe.

Finally watched it...

A week after the Konsert Prelude Akademi Fantasia, I finally got to see it. Yep. In Thailand. At the English Department lounge. Deanna's mom recorded it, and sent the tape through a friend. Thanks, Dee!Hehe. Nanti I belanja you mee sup Tamparuli..hehe..It was sad. Sad. Aku menitiskan air mata sekali lagi eventhough I knew that Marsha was already disqualified. But it was just sad to see a childhood friend crying on stage. She has the talents but nothing can be done now unless there's a kezutan made by Astro. Guess she will be sticking around in KL for quite some time, hope I'll be able to see her when I go back though.

Adventurous girls

5 girls. 2 motorbikes. Went all the way to Pasak Jolasid Dam. Took about 45 minutes to go there. So far, the longest motorbike ride for me here in MC. It was really fun eventhough it was very hot!If we're bored, anything's possible. Reached MC at about 4 p.m. Went up to my room straight away and we watched Shall We Dance. Nice movie. I just love to see the dance moves by JLo. At least this time it was not boring, unlike yesterday!Kan Dee??Hehe.

Ok then, better go to sleep, gonna eat at the Muslim Restaurant tomorrow, Yay!

Full!

I'm still full!Ate out (again) with Deanna, Tina and Tedson at New Zealand. After that, I decided that I wanted to walk all the way back to the dorm -- alone. It was a good walk. Had some thoughts in my mind. Talked with God - problems, joys, everything. Asked Him questions. No answers received, yet. Maybe I wasn't still enough to be able to listen His voice. Being alone sometimes is good. Not always though. I was really enjoying the night breeze as I was walking. I hope to do that more often in the future!

Finals Sucks!

Ya. Really. Well, maybe, if I put more effort in studying, I would have not felt like what I'm feeling right now. Appreciation of Fine Arts was good, although I miss some questions. American Literature to 1865...now that really sucked! I think I just failed the exam. Seriously. I didn't memorize the last sentence of Abraham Lincoln's speech, I can't remember where the quotations were from, I didn't answer one question worth 10 points, I BSed in most of the questions, I even forgot what are the figures of speech, hmm.. what else didn't I do? A lot. Life sucks during finals.

I am NOT doing anything tonight. NOT studying. Definitely. I want to eat to my heart's content. I want to watch movies. Whatever, as long as it's not studying. Applied Phonetics is on Friday, and yeah. I'm not even gonna mention that I haven't studied for that either. There. I just mentioned it. St*p*d. Add your own vowels.

Arrggghhhh!!!I just want to start a new semester! This semester is the worst. I don't know how many times I've repeated that. I just want the whole world to know that this semester was hell. Haha. Like anybody cares.

S.h.i.t. M.y. d.o.g. j.u.s.t. d.i.e.d.

I talked to my Dad on the phone just a few minutes ago. My dog died. My parents don't know how he died. The guy that was living in my house smelled a foul smell, and suspected that something was wrong. That 'something' turned out to be my dog. Dead. Its intestines visible outside the body. It was battered to death, probably by those stupid, heartless filipinos (i don't know whether they are legal or illegal workers). Under the small bridge leading to my house. What stupid people would put a dead dog under the bridge? According to my Dad, my Mom said that Rancho (yes, that's his name) had not been eating for a few days, probably poisoned by those damn people! And yesterday, my Dad found the carcass and suspected that it had been under the bridge since Friday. Shittt. Who knows when it was killed? Stupid people!! I loved my dog very much, I talk to it (I know, I know), and sometimes I feel that just by looking at the 'expression' on its face, he was responding to me. I had that dog after my brother's dog died, being poisoned. I don't know why my dogs keep getting poisoned. Including Rancho, 2 other dogs died because of being poisoned. 1 was mine and the other one was my brother's German Shepherd named Cyber. And now, we're left with two dogs. Oh and our new puppy also died. I don't know what was the reason it died, but the strange thing is, my Mom told me that our puppy died the same day as two other puppies given to my aunt and a friend. They were the first offsprings of my new dog. Strange.

Back to Rancho. I couldn't help it, but the tears just kept coming the moment I heard my Dad said that my dog is dead. That was one of the many dogs I've had as pets that I loved very much. And in July, I will be going back without Rancho greeting me. Rancho was the protector of our home. It would bark and attack anyone he doesn't recognize. I remember teaching him some tricks, and when my brother tried the same thing, he didn't respond. He responded to me. The bond between me and my dog were strong. Not only Rancho but my other dogs. Except for Cyber, it has always been MY dogs, and cats. Sometimes when I'm alone at home, I would sit by him, and talk to him like he's a person, and he would put his head on my lap and just 'listen' to what I have to say. I will miss Rancho and our 'talking' sessions. Luckily, I have pictures of him at home. The memory of him will always be in my heart. I miss him already!

Live life to the fullest

I was reading Henry David Thoreau's Walden and I took a particular liking to this exerpt taken from the conclusion:

"However mean your life is, meet it and live it; do not shun it and call it hard names. It is not so bad as you are. It looks poorest when you are richest. The fault-finder will find faults even in paradise. Love your life, poor as it is".

I learn something just by reading the Walden. I find it interesting. I have just began to love literature last semester although I am quite picky of the readings. If I don't like them, I can't force myself to like them. But, so far, it's been good. Not very good, but good. This summer I'll be taking American Literature after 1865, it's only for two months, and I hope I'll do much better in class, better than this semester. Can't wait!

F.I.N.A.L.S!!

Finals are here again!!!i had one last friday - Advanced Composition - the topics given were quite easy, but to think of the outline and the contents was a pain in the ass. it took me over an hour to think about that, and another hour just to write the essay alone and the rest of the remaining time was used to evaluate my own essay. i went out after 2 hrs 55 minutes sitting in the exam hall - my knees, right hand and my back were hurting after the exam. no exams tomorrow, and tuesday. i hope i can survive through wednesday though - two exams that day: Apreciation of Fine Arts in the morning and American Literature to 1865 in the afternoon. Applied Phonetics on friday. Advanced Reading next wednesday. I can't wait for the finals to end. I want to go through a new semester. For those of you who have been reading my blog since the beginning of this year, you know what i mean when i say this semester didn't start off well - but i'm glad that it has come to an end. i hope nothing like that repeats again. wish me luck!

by the way, here are some pics taken this weekend...church service was good, no sermon - a bunch of MC youths did the whole program..loved the parable of the body though..funny!
