happenings...

boy was today fun!!i went to osoko with the gurls! yay! oh, remember the previous post where i said osoko this year was boring? well, it was the opposite tonight! i guess because it was saturday night. we started our night by playing the bumper cars! man, the impact of the bump was damn hard! boleh dapat kerosakan otak! i had fun though, 20 baht per ride, and it was about 5 minutes! i had fun bumping into people i know as well as strangers. amidst all this, a miracle happened. fiona forgot her wallet on the car she used, and we panicked! the others checked the cars, but her wallet was no where to be found. to make the story short, deanna spotted ton and they informed the police about it. the next thing i knew, she got her wallet back! whoever turned in her wallet at the counter or whatever you call it, is really an honest person. that person didn't even get the money inside, everything was still intact. prayers answered. the power of prayer is great, don't underestimate it.

well, after that, everyone was back to normal. so, we ate dinner at a stall. all of us. felly's treat on her 21st birthday. after eating, we went our separate ways. stopped at many different stalls. well, i don't know how much i spent, but i know it wasn't too much. felly bought a ring for me, which has my name inscribed on it. it was cheap but that's not a problem. it's a friendship ring. she bought one for herself and one for deanna too. and then i bought this necklace, and gantungkan my ring on it. pretty cool, i love it. the other things i bought was bracelets (again:)), some clothes and a keychain (i like collecting key chains!), and a pair of sandals for my mom. yup. i didn't spend much. i'm happy. oh, about the hamster thingy, i almost wanted to buy it, but i guess not this time though.

the latest..

MC Choir..Chamber Choir...at least im involved in something that's related to music here. i'll be taking piano lessons again. it's been..lemme count..3 years since i took lessons. i haven't been playing the piano much since i came here. i need to keep these fingers flexible. will be starting next month. planning on sitting for the diploma exam. i hope i will be able to do it. i saw the pieces, it's hard. but i can't expect things to be easy all the time, especially at this stage. but..life goes on.

boring osoko

went to Osoko today!i was hoping that it would be something like last year's but it wasn't anything like last year at all!!it was so dull. a lot of empty spaces, unlike last year's. all i bought were the three things below. im obsessed with them! i felt like buying all of them, but i had no money! well, asides from that, i almost wanted to buy a hamster! 80 baht each, small little tiny hamster! so cute! i will buy one when i go there again! they're so cute!

anyways, i have only one class at 12 noon tomorrow. that means i could sleep until 10 a.m. i love fridays. i love saturdays. i hate sundays, because onces sunday ends, monday comes! who loves monday?

Makha Bucha Day

today is a holiday. maha bucha day. i didn't do anything educational. didn't even touch my books. baca pun teda. all i did was, woke up at 9.52 a.m., went online, went for lunch at 1 p.m., came back to the room at 2.30 p.m., watched Princess Diaries II until 4.15 p.m., went down to wait for my student (she didn't show up), went back to my room, go online, went for worship, go online again. i have yet to read The Masque of the Red Death and The Raven by Edgar Allan Poe for my American Literature class tomorrow. i really have to start doing things. i keep saying this everytime, but i never start! i need inspiration. inspiration of what sort? i don't know. i feel like repeating this semester all over again. the beginning of this semester really sucked! i think that's why i don't feel like doing anything. i know it's not possible to turn back time, so now, all i want is for this semester to go by as quickly as possible. i want to go back home! i miss home. i miss my parents. i miss my cousins. i miss my bed. i miss my mom's cooking. i miss eating mee sup. i miss my dogs. i miss my disfigured turtle. i miss watching ASTRO (eventhough it can get really boring, but still!). i miss a lot of things! the thought of going home keeps me going here. another 5 more months before i board the plane and go back home! patience is all i need.

I was just thinking of my favourite cousin, Kakak Tuti, and decided to post up some pictures of her and her family. I haven't seen her for almost 4 years, I miss her so much. She has been like a big sister to me since I was born. I respect her, I tell her my problems, I ask advice from her, I trust her, I miss her so much. She's the best!!
