what a relief i had this afternoon after i was done with my presentation for dr. paul's class, introduction to linguistics...for today's presentation, i really did not have any proper preparation, unlike the previous one..i did my notes in two hours last nite and slept at 1 a.m. and did another last minute notes on loan words in an hour this morning...the presentation time is 50 minutes, i thought i could not reach 50 minutes but i did anyways...this class is over, but next year there will be more presentations, and i will be taking another subject under dr. paul which is applied phonetics, and there will be more presentations under him!i never liked talking in front, i think the first time i ever talk in front of people was two years ago during my graduation...i just learned to be brave since i arrived here in mission college...the first semester i was here, i had to deal with presentations, i was like 'omg!how could i ever talk in front of others?!'...yes, i have been on stage, but i've never literally talked on stage..but as the semesters go by, and i have to deal with presentations, i found out that actually it's kinda easy..you just have to be prepared with your material, and once you're in front, and start talking, (if you're prepared) you'll not even notice that your time is almost up!!well, that's just what i think from what i experienced in my linguistics class..different people has different ideas and opinions on this...and everytime before i begin my presentation, or before i even step into the class, i ask God to give me a clear mind and help me not to be nervous while talking and so far, He has never failed me, especially today..i really felt that He helped me not to be nervous, as i was not as bergegar as my other presentations, thank God for that!:)well, right now im just wasting my time in the library doing nothing...i have one unfinished assignment, which is for my introduction to literature class but i just felt the need to relax tonight...

this morning after assembly, my mum called me..i was so happy to talk to her, i haven't called home this week because of kekurangan credit in my cell phone..she told me that my cousin, who is following the pathfinders from sabah, will be reaching mission college on the 17th, so she asked me what i wanted so that she can pass the things to my cousin..i said i wanted kicap ayam brand, bawang goreng and my photo album...those were some of the things that i could think of this morning, but i guess i still have some things that i want them to pass to my cousin...my aunt will be coming to thailand too, so bolehlah saya minta lebih banyak barang :)..and cikgu farida will be arriving in thailand next week..more sabahans!!hmmm, i wonder who will replace her as the chemistry and science teacher in SASS..well, that's not my problem anyways!
ok, enough for tonight..i was thinking of posting some pictures but im using the computer in the library but i guess i just have to postpone it to another day..till then, ciao peeps!
