Realization

My Dad was a teacher. My Mum was a teacher. My brother was a teacher. I remembered saying to myself that I will never end up being one, and yet I did just that last year. Do I regret my decision? Absolutely not. I think I now realize that my passion IS teaching. Haha!

Just a while ago, one of my Primary 3 Mars student called and hearing them say they appreciate you gives a strange, heartwarming feeling. I must have done something right to deserve their appreciation and that just makes me miss my students, my ex-colleagues, and the school itself all over again. It has been a year, and I still haven't gotten over it. I may act like I'm happy with my decision to quit, but inside there's still a feeling of regret. I guess it's good to feel like this because, to me, it means that I was not entirely unhappy with my first stint as a schoolteacher at such a challenging setting. :D

Feelings aside.

I've been listening to Josh Groban's "Noel" album over and over again - this means that I'm already in the mood for Christmas! Hehe!

December will be a busy, busy month. So will the months after it. Can't wait! :P
